trip over. mom and i flew san francisco to denver in the afternoon. we had enough time in the layovers to grab a bite to each and some ice cream over backgammon (i, uh, can’t recall who won…) before parting ways. i had a few more hours in the airports. i watched her flight pull away and sat for a while at her gate waving, remembering the trip.
