hanging out on my bed. staring up at the poster hanging above my bed (no, not that one – i took that one down). talking on the phone with katie naessans. playing some long overdue catch up about her d.c. life, and my madison life, and whatever falls in between there. oh, a friend like katie is perfect on a wednesday evening.

another night of canceled plans. feeling even worse than the previous two nights. after a world asthma day event for work on the northside, i headed home to sink into the big green chair for most of the eve. talking with steve for a bit on the phone - catching up on life, and the lives of college friends. i only moved to head to coldstone, while talking myself horse on the phone with my ma and pa, to get some ice cream to help my throat. if i'm going to feel crappy, i might as well find and excuse to enjoy it. the silver lining, perhaps.

tuesday 03.17.09

heading out for a walk (in my new shoes!) well, the second walk of the night. liza (the dog) and i went for a walk for a bit before. but she kept pooping. so she went home and i headed out solo. what you can't see, though, is that i'm on the phone with my good friend from college, kara larson. talking together all the way from atlanta, ga. the (semi-)newly engaged kara and i were able to catch up on our lives from the past few months. we spent almost an hour talking before she had to get back to life in the atlanta time zone.
