monday 04.27.09


putting on the running shoes to head out on a rainy evening jog. i was perfectly content with the idea of staying inside, reading my 'vegetarian times' and 'the week' magazines. but then remembered i joined my work's quarterly worksite wellness challenge. i signed-up - with a team of ten other folks from the health services (mine) & medical management departments - to have at least sixty minutes of cardiovascular activity five days a week. thinking it was probably best to start the week out on the right foot, i took of for a 30-min jog, 30-min walk so to not disappoint hs & mm.

tuesday 02.17.09



frantically driving across town. from a dinner meeting at the hospital (across the street from my house) to the princeton club. i didn't have time between the end of the work day and the start of the meeting to make it to the workout room. so after the meeting seemed like a good time. my day ended after 9:00pm. which is fine. but i can't help but wonder how the work life and personal life happen when there are kids?

monday 02.09.09

i fly like paper...


driving home from work at the medical foundation. midvale & mineral point. i accidentally stayed later than i anticipated. the building i work in has a workout room on the main floor. i was in my cube until 6 or so, then headed downstairs to use the equipment. much more convenient on the weekdays than going to the princeton club.

friday 01.16.09


at the princeton club post-workout. the workout room at the medical foundation was being painted, and therefore unusable. i hadn't been to the princeton club since biking season started in april or may. it's shocking how fast i picked up right where i left off. walk, stretch, jog, elliptical, job, walk, stretch. and repeat.
