putting on the running shoes to head out on a rainy evening jog. i was perfectly content with the idea of staying inside, reading my 'vegetarian times' and 'the week' magazines. but then remembered i joined my work's quarterly worksite wellness challenge. i signed-up - with a team of ten other folks from the health services (mine) & medical management departments - to have at least sixty minutes of cardiovascular activity five days a week. thinking it was probably best to start the week out on the right foot, i took of for a 30-min jog, 30-min walk so to not disappoint hs & mm.
