closing up barriques with a 1-8pm shift with ryan. just consulting jill’s (tracy’s?) ‘pairing food & wine’ guidebook. searching for the perfect wine to pair with microwave popcorn. the book provided options for everything imaginable – i.e. wild boar and kangaroo – but not popcorn. wtf? this classy gal just wants to know the best vino for my big nights in. i find this book to be flawed. and elitist.
